22nd edition of Essência do Vinho - Porto

The Essence of Wine event took place at the Palácio da Bolsa, in Porto, featuring more than 4,000 wines from Portugal and around the world. Morgado de Oliveira from Alentejo was the highest-rated white wine, and Mínimo Maria Fernanda 2021 from Douro, the red. Also highlighted were the Madeira wine Pereira de Oliveiras Terrantez 1890, the wines celebrating 25 years of the Pintas project, and examples from Quinta das Carvalhas. The event included the presence of Chilean, Spanish, and local producers, in addition to a parallel program of master classes and a focus on wines with minimal intervention. Upcoming editions will be in Lisbon and Funchal.
