Frank Murangwa is Regional Director Africa at ICCA. He spearheads initiatives that strengthen Africa’s presence in the international congress market. Frank champions regional integration and enhances global visibility by connecting international networks with local expertise.
Previously, Frank served as Director of Destination Marketing at the Rwanda Convention Bureau, where he played a pivotal role in positioning Rwanda as a hub for international conferences and high‑profile events. He led strategic marketing programs that elevated Rwanda’s global reputation and delivered measurable economic impact.
In 2024, Frank received the Paul Flackett IMEX Academy Award in recognition of his long‑term commitment and outstanding contributions to the industry.
Frank holds an MA in Tourism Destination Management from NHTV University in Breda, the Netherlands. Outside work, he enjoys traveling and sports.
