In 2022, we began our journey to net zero by partnering with EarthCheck; the world’s leading business advisory group for the travel and tourism industry. Our commitment to sustainability stems from our vision statement, ‘We Always Care’; a core ethos that not only delivers enriched experiences for our guests and team, but also drives our commitment to the environment. Every team member is part of our Sustainability and Environmental Taskforce and each one of us plays a key role in helping the hotel to reduce our carbon footprint.

EarthCheck helps tourism businesses and destinations become more sustainable through certification, consulting, and training and is widely respected by travellers, brands and destinations globally. Businesses who achieve the EarthCheck certification have been through a rigorous science-backed, people-focused sustainability certification process which gives them the tools they need to measure their impact, and to make business decisions that save money, resources and the planet.

We’re committed to minimising the impact that we have on the environment and we care about having a positive affect in our neighbourhood at the centre of this vibrant city. From the solar panels on our roof, to the energy efficient kitchens throughout the hotel, we are mindful of all that we can do to reduce energy consumption, conserve natural resources, and reduce waste. Our team even sort the recycling from all 411 of our guest rooms, so you don’t have to!
