Tate Modern offers some of the most unique and iconic spaces for large events in London. Housed within a former power station, the world-renowned modern art gallery features dramatic industrial settings such as the Turbine Hall and The Tanks. Once part of the building’s industrial infrastructure, these striking spaces have been transformed into distinctive venues for events and live art experiences.
The Turbine Hall is a vast venue and has original features of the building's industrial past. It spans an impressive 155m in length and 35m in height and can host up to 700 guests seated and 1200 guests standing.
The Tanks, are the power stations two former oil tanks that have be excavated, restored and transformed into one-of-a-kind event spaces. They have a raw industrial charm and provide a dramatic blank canvas backdrop to an event. They lend themselves to a variety of events including award ceremonies, prestigious dinners, receptions and grand galas. They can host 400 guests seated and up to 600 standing in each tank. The Tanks Foyer provides a great pre-dinner reception spaces allowing for largescale events.
