Grae Matta Foundation
Dr Ferron Gray Foren (Psy), PhD, MSc, BSc, FIOD, is President of the Grae Matta Group and the Grae Matta Foundation. He advises international stakeholders on mental health policy and its impact on productivity across sectors. Ferron regularly engages with central and local governments, global trade organizations and the private sector, and has addressed audiences at the United Nations, the World Health Organization, the G20 and the UK Houses of Parliament.
As a specialist forensic psychologist, Ferron leads initiatives focused on standardizing mental health policies in higher education, the workplace and the events industry. Under his leadership, the Grae Matta Foundation is developing an International Mental Health Standard for the events industry, working with standards agencies and global partners. The Foundation holds Special Consultative Status with the United Nations.
Ferron also serves as an elected councillor for the London Council and the SME Council of the Confederation of British Industry, and as a UK representative on the B20 Employment & Education Task Force. Outside work, Ferron mentors young professionals and enjoys global travel.

In March 2026, a delegation of event professionals joined the Grae Matta Foundation at the United Nations in New York for the 70th Commission on the Status of Women. Viewed through a lens of justice and equality—an issue closely aligned with an industry that is more than 75% female—the experience highlighted stark global differences in gender equality and their health and economic impacts.
