Director, Global Business Development
International Association of Exhibitions and Events | IAEE
Karen Gonzales joined the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) in 2017. As Director of Global Business Development, she works closely with partners, sponsors and exhibitors to showcase their brands across the global exhibitions and events industry.
Before joining IAEE, Karen held leadership roles at Association Forum and Destinations International, where she most recently served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Her career also includes roles with Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and Visit Denver.
Karen serves as Chairwoman of The Meetings Industry Fund and is a past chair of the Events Industry Council’s CMP Governance Committee. She is an accepted member of the CMP Fellows Program and a tenured CMP recognized for her career contributions.
